Got Stage Fright?

Help Support Our Performing Group From Behind the Scenes

RSVP’s Pretty Good Players present role models with positive attitudes about growing older, who give honest, upbeat presentations about aging.

Our goals:
-to use performance to educate the public about aging issues.
-to reflect with sensitivity and accuracy the diversity of older Minnesotans.
-to promote and support vital aging.

Join usWe need people to help support/coordinate the group behind the scenes:

- Promotion/marketing: help generate publicity to spread the word about us (increase our exposure for bookings and recruiting new volunteers).

-Scheduling: using phone and/or email/meeting wizard: contact performers to find compatible times for rehearsals and performances, etc.

-Office Help: type or copy scripts, recordkeeping, correspondence, assemble script books, etc.

-Writers (or just skit ideas): Share your ideas and experiences with us and we'll use them to educate/entertain others.

-Performance Enhancement skills: Directing, voice coaching, etc

-Misc: we sometimes need help with photograpy, videography, audio, props...

By the way, in the event that you do happen to enjoy getting up in front of others, we can always use more performers: actors, singers, musicians, dancers, storytellers…

Got a Spare Hour?

Substitute Meals on Wheels Drivers Needed

There is an urgent need for substitute Meals on Wheels drivers! Right now a lot of volunteer drivers are out of town for summer vacations etc, so many programs are very strapped to find subs than can fill in. Volunteering one time can really help out, and it only takes a little over an hour.
Call 612-617-7820 and we'll connect you to your closest MOW program.

Free supplemental insurance and other RSVP benefits are available to volunteers 55 and over.
